Do you have anything at all that supports this wild-ass claim? Right now this just sounds like a Trump puppet statement.
Check his newest position on ‘secure borders’ and ‘immigration system’.
yeah that picture was every day not the height of a circus
The kid in the pic was being returned to his father in Cuba after his mother kidnapped him and risked his life on the crossing to the US during which she died
Not this wasn’t a traumatising moment it could be argued it could have been handled better but also his US relatives weren’t willing to let him return to his father peacefully, I think the look of terror on his face here is just the natural reaction of a young kid who went through that ordeal and is taking cues from the relatives holding him who have armed strangers kicking in their door, not a reaction to be returned to Cuba in and of itself
The Kid(Elián González) later became an engineer and a member of the National Assembly of People’s Power and never attempted to return to the US under his own volition so I think its safe to say he was happy with the results in the end
For 1 Cuban kid returned, there are thousands of immigrant kids severed from their families. Some are even killed.
True but this picture shows the opposite: it’s not a kid being separated from his immediate family, it actually shows a kid who’s has previously been separated from his immediate family being seized from the people who were holding him so that he could be returned to his father
Do you have reading comprehension problem?
I guess so, if your post was meant to imply that El-Sayed supports family separation then why choose a picture that shows the opposite of that?
Or if you meant to say that El-Sayed is against separation and supports the repatriation of children kidnapped and smuggled into the US back to their home countries and families, why bring up the thousands of immigrant kids severed from their families and sometimes killed when I clarified that the context of the picture is the opposite of separation?
El-Sayed wants the pre-ICE immigration system.
cool that was less bad
Ok how does the picture relate, do you think it’s typical of pre-ICE immigration enforcement?
It’s like I am debating with the ghost of Charlie Kirk.
Because a system as cruel as U.S. immigration police will be used to brutalize and separate more immigrants than it will be used to return kidnapped children back to their families. They literally deported immigrants to random countries with concentration camps regardless of their birthplace.
Ok I still don’t get why you’d choose a picture essentially showing the opposite of what you think’d happen then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is it not the Immigration police ‘without the ICE’.
What’s this picture in reference to and how do you know this is what Abdul El-Sayed wants?
morgansinkc.bsky.social @morgansinkc.bsky.social · 1d Yes. We get taxes on unrealized gains because the city/county/state needs more money to pay for services for illegal aliens.
So I guess the picture is in reference to INS, which was the previous border enforcement agency that El-Sayed says he wants to go back to in the vid you linked?
Similar to when Bernie Saunders talked about why we shouldn’t have open borders.

Okay, but Elian Gonzalez was kidnapped. Kids belong with their parents. He’s now thriving. He’s an engineer and just became a lawmaker in the National Assembly.
It’s not their fault American cops are stupid fat pigs with machine guns.
Fuck them and the Miami gusanos.
