You’d think so, but he’ll refuse and easily convince his cult that it’s the correct move or they’ll just come up with excuses for him.

Logic doesn’t factor into any of this.

I know that logic and consistency don’t belong in the same sentence as “trump”, but if they did, even that argument can be dismantled.

If spending money on the military enables fighting and war, then what would be trump’s supporting argument for increasing the US Defense budget at the cost of over $800 Billion?

You don’t have to go that deep and convoluted.

You can’t have peace when you have an invading army in your country.

To have peace the invading army needs to want peace. They don’t.

just playing devils advocate but some sort of “America first” thing.

like “we can’t be getting involved in everyone else’s disputes, we need to focus our resources on making our own nation stronger with better defense”

          cue tesla space lasers, etc.

So, Mr trump, are you going to block sale of US weapon systems to other nations too to stay consistent with your messaging? Have you consulted your Military Industrial Complex handlers from Lockheed, Raytheon, and others yet?

“What a terrible person you are, BANNED!”

Seriously great questions though, I wish our journalists would step up like this.

something about Zelensky being a dictator so it’s different, then how “Biden aligned himself with these dictators but we won’t”. then they push they election again. they own an opposition candidate. next cycle he’ll lift the ban of french fries after “the left banned them”, even though they never were.

Trunp doesn’t have to deal with a flaw in reasoning if he never acknowledges the flaw.

“I’ve never heard of that” and the media let’s him get away with it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: they don’t support Trump because they agree with him, they agree with him because he’s Trump. It doesn’t matter if he flip flops on topics every couple of weeks, it doesn’t matter if he directly screws over his own followers, it doesn’t matter if he spits in the face of all things America has ever claimed to stand for; if Trump says or does something, his followers will support it. Every time.

He can spin anything he wants to the people voting for him, because he has a whole media apparatus to influence them. But he also has to deal with people outside of his cult in the real world. Maybe those people don’t have much influence in what happens inside of the US, but ‘tricks’ like force him to show his cards to the rest of the world. Also history is written by the victor and I think that at the end of the day century that isn’t gonna be trump.

Of course not. But him turning down money is surely going to get stuck in his dementia loop.
