Ghost, when they first came into the scene I could not get into them. I loved their look, their lore, and anonymity. When they won their first Grammy I called my best friend who was a huge fan of their and told him to get me into them. He sent me a bunch of videos but I still could not get into it.
Then I saw them open for Iron Maiden and was hooked by the second song. The energy that Papa Emeritus (Terzo) brought to the show, the Ghouls while being anonymous also brought so much. I have been a huge fan since.
I have the opposite feeling regarding ghost, 10 years ago they were a cool growing underground bands with a fun make up and lore, and by the end of the 2010’s you would hear them at the radio, and a lot of drama between Papa and the Ghouls (Magna carta cartel is the former Ghouls band, and the legit successor of Ghost)

Let alone that I can’t afford ticket anymore.
The description of Ghost I’ve read online: “Ghost is modern day Kiss of rock/metal music” and I think it’s true. It’s more money generator than band.
