Case, I get it. Screen protectors?
I never once got the thing on correctly. I almost always just get frustrated and just take it off and give up.
I especially hate those “screen protector” thing that comes with the case, since those are just a thin fimsy layer of plastic and gets so oilly and greasy…
Many people probabaly use cases, but do you also use a screen protector, or is that redundant? Every phone these days have gorilla glasss 5 anyways, what even is the point?
You’re probably right, but also, is it that big of a deal? I don’t buy just a screen protector, but the phone cases always come with one. I work construction, so I like to have a pretty durable phone case. I usually buy an Otterbox or similar. They always come with a screen protector, and I’ve never had a problem putting them on correctly.
I guess I just don’t see why NOT to use a screen protector if you already have one.
I mean, yeah, I’m not saying don’t use one ever, there’s just a lot of people in here very confident that they’re essential.
And the only downside I would say, is that if you put a scratchable surface on top of an unscratchable screen, then your screen is going to look scratched up more often, during the period after the protector gets scratched but before you replace it.
Though this is a relatively minor downside if you are seriously risking scratching the glass underneath.
