Yeah, he’s saying this before the elections.
He’s also saying he won’t send troops on the ground.
Because he knows that both of those are wildly unpopular and more likely to wind him with him getting investigations going after him and his accomplices.
We’ll see what he does after the elections.
He has also relatively recently said that he doesn’t rule anything out, which we all know is accurate because he changes his mind on a whim.

Trump also reiterated that the war would end “very soon” whether by force or diplomacy and that oil prices would then drop.
Trump’s been saying the war would end soon since the beginning, and he keeps repeating it. Eight months and counting.
