I bought a dumb car. Fun as fuck. Not a dream car but a lust car. It has made me smile so many times in the last couple of weeks. It’s well beyond what I would normally do for myself. I’d get practical and boring. Inexpensive. Well, I followed the “treat yo’self!” mantra this time. After a lot of cajoling by some friends.
I do normally like working on cars a bit, yeah. I just got this one so the only thing I’ve done is replace the headlights and fill some fluids. But unlike a lot of modern vehicles, it’s really engineered to tinker on and modify. Many vehicles are frustrating to work on.
It’s a 2017 Ford Focus ST2 (with moonroof because it feels so much more free to me). It’s even quicker/faster than I expected and even more fun. And, I can absolutely qualify many reasons why this particular car is a great option at the moment, but in the end, it’s about the fun.
Oh come on! This one looks great! Personally, I like the yellow one. And you absolutely don’t have to justify your choice. Just do and enjoy what feels right for you! 🚗

I love loud colors in vehicles. Shame that most everything on the road is just grayscale nowadays. It sounds like a ton of fun!
