I had a cat when my wife and I started dating. When we were talking about marriage, she said, “I don’t think your cat likes me.”
I said, “Are you serious? He loves you!” He would often curl up on her legs. I have no idea how she thought he didn’t like her.
She grew up with dogs and just didn’t know cats at all.
That cat passed away about 12 years ago, but we have three cats now. And a dog.
