    South Africa does not have any “refugees”. The very suggestion is ludicrous. This is Trump lie #74394. The democratic majority government took over from the white supremist minority government 30 years ago. If there were going to be any reprisals for the repressive dictatorship it would have all happened 30 years ago.

      I agree these aren’t refugees, but your argument about nothing happening for 30 years so it can’t happen now is ridiculous. The politics change in SA just like in any other country, and nothing is stopping a new government from going after people for anything ranging from past deeds to skin color, even if it didn’t happen before.

    Are they the ones that will paint houses in the us? Are they gonna do the dishes in the restaurants? Are they willing to stand at the production lines of the factories trump wants to have moved (back) to the us so gladly? (Asking for a friend)

      Nah, the reason they’re feeling so persecuted in South Africa is that they used to have someone else wiping their asses for them and now they’re expected to do it themselves. These are people that are hoping to sit in the work van reading the newspaper and drinking coffee while all the underlings do the actual work.
