Make sure you vote in Ottawa, Ontario Canada’s municipal election Monday!
This applies to everyone by the way, including people who live elsewhere /s
In all seriousness, hope it goes well :)
Haha, thank you! The polls are actually looking pretty close for the progressive candidate Jeff Leiper so I’m cautiously optimistic we might finally boot out our current slimy right wing “war on cars!!” mayor, Mark Sutcliffe
I mailed my ballot in last week and verified it was accepted.
so, is there not an Ontario community? bc I didn’t find one
Here it is !ontario@lemmy.ca
Is it the ! that properly links a comm? I hadn’t tried before, was wondering why mine just gave mail to links.
Yes that’s the format for linking to other communities, which most apps will render nicely. You can also link to users with the @ symbol: @otter@lemmy.ca
When I search “Ontario” I see Ontario@lemmy.ca with 231 MAU. kingston_ontario@lemmy.ca has 35 and Goderich@lemmy.ca about a dozen.
I’ve found search on Sync to be horrendous
That logo looks like Norton(now GEN Digital) ngl
Canada is a fictional place which makes this a shitpost.
