    Would love to hear anyone share WHY his performance in gladiator 2 would deserve a nomination?

    He’s an elderly actor taking on a 30 year old in combat while bringing down all of Rome? The ridiculous plot should be considered not the elderly actor.

      Yeah the whole movie was kinda dumb. It was pretty and the action was cool, but if you’re going to flood the coliseum and have sharks in there you make as well go full Minotaur and shit.

      He was so bad in it. I’d love to blame the movie (which was even worse) but there were several times he stopped playing Macrinus and switches to Alonzo
