Have kept applying and have a couple more interviews next week. Will have to be working outside office hours anyway, and the raise would make it worthwhile, but we’ll see. Fingers crossed.

minus-squareDuenan@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up0·9 days agoWill it be worth it if you got the raise? From the impression I got it felt like they were overloading you with clients and work. There’s got to be a point where you have to tell them that you’ve been given too much work or too many clients to deal with?
minus-squareGibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·9 days agoHonestly, I don’t know. The raise would be life changing. I could actually buy a house a lot sooner. I am overloaded. And I will need to work outside office hours. But everything has a cost. Depends what we want to sacrifice to achieve our goals. In the least, it will give me an incredible ability to handle large amounts of work which I can take with me to another place. Life has so many tough decisions.
