Why couldn’t it be Battinson? I feel like a big part of the draw of a Batman/Superman story is that they’re so different from each other, and Battinson is about as far away from Corenswet Superman as you can get personality-wise.

I wish Batfleck had better writing and a better director. Maybe Ben would have enjoyed the role more then. He really was a great older Batman.
Maybe it’s nostalgia for Beyond but I like an old, grumpy bat.
OMG, Ben, as a grey-haired elderly Bruce, would be SO awesome berating Terry while also coaching him.
Same for Supercavill.
Those two had so much potential. They got handed meh-tier writing and directing at a time when Marvel was already producing superhero movies hand over fist. The rawest of deals in terms of playing those two characters IMO. Not that the new Superman has it that much better in terms of superhero movie saturation.
