Just checked last.fm

Not a song, my current fixation has been the album Aquarius by Haken. It’s grown on me a little.
Watched them live recently, and it gave me new appreciation for their new stuff, “in a fever dream” turned out to be great.
I’m already recovering from the second burnout from one song
Hey, remove the tracking stuff on your YouTube link, it shows your YT profile @LadyButterfly

Fear factory does indeed rip
Ordinary kid, call me back.
Neal Diamond “Play Me”.
Beach Life In Death by Car Seat Headrest. Somehow I’ve been a fan for years and just discovered it a month or so ago.
I’ve a playlist called shutupdammit that is just “shut up” and “dammit” by blink 182 to play on loop. It’s always there for me when I need to take a drive and have a shouty temper tantrum for emotional regulation
That is perfectly normal.
I just recently started listening to Nothing Else Matters again. The cello version from the Wednesday soundtrack. Two years ago I listened to it over 300 times, according to Spotify.
Acc. to my scrobbler stats:

-
Bury Tomorrow - Abandon Us
-
Chaosbay - Willows By The Lake

Sylosis - A Sign Of Things To Come
-
Corelia - The Sound Of Glaciers Moving
It’s not the songs I listen to. It’s the ones that play in my head for weeks at a time.
Uh, well, my last.fm says I’ve listened to REM Losing My Religion nearly 1k times
Haha that’s a song that I have found myself listening to on repeat maany times over the years, too! :)
As a recovering Catholic, you ain’t listening enough.
Jean Michel Jarre’s Equinoxe V, it’s that sweet '70s analog melodic synth stuff I like.
I’m the type that it drives me crazy to hear the same song twice in a row, even my favorites. One song, then a different one, then back to the first is fine, but in a row stresses me out
That’s really interesting to me, as I either obsess over a song and play it repeatedly or I need to listen to music that doesn’t interest me but is pleasant. It’s like I have polar opposites of interest within me.
