I’m sure you’re right, but I could see something like this happening by accident in my childhood home. Bouillon cubes get left on the counter/in an unorganized cupboard. Dad (or mom) who doesn’t immediately recognize them is doing cleaning/organizing and tosses them in the candy drawer/cupboard. Halloween comes and candy runs out, grabs some extra leftover candy from the drawer without closely analyzing what it all is.

Have you seen the prices for candy lately? Especially chocolatey stuff?

Me too but it’s giving me ideas for next year.

Pocket crosspost lol. I think I had the original post open and put my phone in my pocket unlocked. When I checked again I had somehow crossposted it. Also opened the emergency call screen and texted a bunch of random numbers to my mom.
