I had the displeasure of trying these recently. Now, I have put some questionable things in my mouth, but these are by far the worst. One bite and straight in the bin.
The little aldi vege spring rolls go okay.
The only way these are gonna taste half decent is if you deep fry them in 10 day old vegetable oil and sit them in a bain marie for 3 hours. I don’t care if the instructions say oven, microwave, airfryer, arm pit. Their instructions will deliver disappointment everytime.

I’d be tempted to nominate Choice itself for a shonky award. The concept of independent reviews is great, but I’ve seen some that are pretty dodgy.
The worst I recall seeing was a review of portable induction plates. They claimed that none of them were any good because the settings work differently than a standard electric hotplate, so users might have to learn to use them.

Goddamnit, my girlfriend has started playing Vampire Survivors again, which means I’ve started playing Vampire Survivors again. We mostly just played it coop together so I never went deeper than basic builds and the first forest map. Now I’m trying to unlock stuff and figuring out what combos together. Sure, it’s all up on a wiki somewhere but what’s the point of playing if you’re just going to read about it?
I seriously annoyed my hands playing this to excess on my phone. No idea how people figure out some of the unlocks so bloody random!
I went ham on that game unlocking everything, and now I love “survivor-likes” there’s a few on the Play store I enjoy.
It’s just an addicting gameplay loop
I realised you just have to unlock everything even if you have preferred characters so you can further improve your build. It’s just fun running the numbers and becoming unstoppable.
I picked one up called Vital Shell where you control a gundam and it looks like a Dreamcast/PS1 game. I also figure they’ll be good games for my kids to start with because they just have to talk around and not get hit.
