That the sex work industry is inherently exploitive. That sex trafficking is the leading cause of missing and killed women in the world and that as Marxist Leninists it is our job to make sure that all workers, ESPECIALLY the most marginalized feel safe until we build a world where the exploitation of the sex work industry is dismantled and eradicated.

Interesting observation comrade, so to my understanding prostitution should be illegal in both a socialist and communist society?

No…sex work would be obsolete not illegal. Sex work is usually work done by the financially desperate. You build up the materialistic conditions of the people and they won’t need to resort to desperation nor will there be a black market that preys on the desperate. In a Communist society, you would fight the industry not the workers.

A few new sex workers who “enjoy it” compared to their previous low wage job< thousands upon thousands of sex trafficked women, even as young as small children that are being exploited by a system that is “simply” supplying the demand because sex has become a commodity.

There are countless interviews from ex-porn stars who talk about how predatory the industry is and how they made little to no money while also being shunned by society for providing a need that they themselves demanded. I personally know quite a few ex sex workers who fear for their lives if their work ever got leaked to the general public. I know many sex workers who have reported being assaulted and even harassed and stalked.

Sex work is not a utility that humanity desperately needs, there will always be small factors to a broad question but what we’re not going to do is center a society around oppressing already marginalized groups of people for the work that they do, making sex work illegal is extremely dangerous…
