Germany on Saturday quickly rejected a new proposal for the European Union’s next seven-year budget as unacceptable, saying the spending cuts did not go far enough.

Pretty sure our “Christian” conservative government considers itself the political “centre party”. You know, like the one that empowered the Nazis, in exchange for promises that were broken within weeks. A mistake they’ll surely learn from… by refusing to initiate the process for banning them.

I hate the voters of the last 30 years that allowed things to get to this point.

The story is the same in most Western countries right now; far-right candidates are leeching votes from center-right candidates by claiming that center-left candidates are socialists and bemoaning immigration that is ultimately necessary for long-term economic growth and pension program viability without racking up unsustainable debt like Japan.

Meanwhile, center-right and center-left candidates view this shift as a reflection of voter preferences and shift their platforms rightward to placate the far-right, pointing to supposedly socialist boogiemen further left than them as a defense to why their political positions are ‘reasonable’.

    Of course it’s totally unacceptable…

As long as any money still goes to lazy people not already having at least a few hundred million, to businesses that’re not big corporations donating a fortune to their campaigns, or to education where students get indoctrinated to think for themselves instead of parroting far-right narratives, those fascist enablers won’t agree.
