One year ago if I could have seen where I am now, I don’t think I could have ever believed it. One year ago, it felt like my entire world ended. I had never felt anything remotely like that before. It was so powerful and intense and it felt like everything I knew was over.

Slowly and painfully, I managed to heal from it and would consider myself quite happy today one year later. It left some deep fucking scars but also managed some positives out of it. I’ve tattooed my body since then with various things…some represent my journey and others don’t mean as much.

But I’m happy to be here today and I am hoping the best for you all. Time is one of the biggest factors in healing and it’s so fucking painfully slow. But your life can grow around your pain.

Buy yourselves a little Halloween candy as a treat this month. :)

Just finished municipal elections and lost my city to the ex-mayor who had sold us out for 30+ years once again.

Going up on provincial next week and expecting to also lose to a really awful party that will likely mean I will lose my job.

    So, not great :/
