I have a job I really enjoy that I do a few hours a day, for the money sure, but also for fun. And then I enjoy a lot of extra hours doing the things I want.

It’s like retirement but with a few hours of fun stuff I gotta do every day, sure, but it’s still fun. When I retire for real, I just won’t do the few hours of fun no more.

I can tell you exactly what I do, because 25 years ago, I chose to forgo promotions at work and prioritize free time and quality of life over money:

I spend time with my family.
I do the things I want while I’m still young (or rather, while I was still young 🙂).
Generally leading a good life free of stress and drama.

You were given only one life. You have a finite set of hours on this dirtball, and the countdown is running. Every extra hour you give to your employer in exchange for money is an hour you don’t spend with your loved ones, and you can’t buy it back. Retirement age is too late to enjoy your life.

Nobody goes to their graves thinking they should have worked more.

The people who needed to hear it heard it loud and clear, and they didn’t think it was fake news. Trump himself said what he was gonna do. The J6 riots really happened and it wasn’t a secret. The 34 felony conviction really happened.

Those who voted for Trump AGREED with those things. They either embraced it as the little Nazi magats they are, or they reckoned increasing their buying power was well worth a little fascim and overlooking basic morality.

And you know what? Fuck them.

And everybody knew it. But the price of eggs justifies any idiotic vote!

I haven’t found him off until yesterday. But what he said yesterday genuinely shocked me.

I watched Jon Stewart’s TDS piece yesterday and for once, the man horrified me. His arguments were:

• We gave Trump the power to use the constitution which grants him the right to do all the terrifying things he’s done so far, therefore it’s not fascism because it’s constitutional, and we should react only when he crosses the line and he starts doing unconstitutional shit and nobody counters him using constitutional means. He even said “Don’t blame the players, blame the Founding Fathers.” - as if somehow playing dirty is okay because it’s allowed.

• If we keep shouting “fascist” now that it’s only a mild case, nobody will listen when the case gets more severe.

In other words, according to Stewart, we should wait until Trump and his henchmen become fascist enough to react and make noise.

What an assinine logic! Trump is fascist RIGHT NOW, AT FULL PELT! It’s not because the constitution is broken and allows it that it’s not fascism. Hitler too rose to power legally.

If you need proof, check if the United States doesn’t tick all the boxes.

Hint: it does perfectly, all 14 of them, without a single exception.

And the US will lose just as much value as Twitter.

I’ve been wondering about that: the American Gestapo ICE is roaming around and arresting lots of people. I understand some of those arrests result from random ID checks. But a lot of them is ICE officers raiding houses and “places of interest” where the migrants are supposed to be hiding, and the officers seem to know exactly where to go.

This started almost immediately after the Orange Utan gave the order, and they sure were able to nab a lot of people right off the bat.

Which raises the question: how did they know where to go get the undocumented migrants? Did they have lists of suspects and addresses before Trump was sworn in? And more importantly, if they did, who are the disgusting rotters who turned them in?

I’m pretty sure TSMC has the means to hurt the US more than Trump realizes.
