Good career advice in this thread.
I’m just going to kick in: Get on the Eightfold Path. I wish I would have started as a teen. But, ya know, that’s not the way it happened, so🤷.
Good luck! Seek to create joy always!

I just checked out startpage having never heard of it. They want me to log in. They want me to download an app. Their video search apparently censors NSFW content even with safe search turned off. The overall search results aren’t better than any other search engine as far as I can tell. This is likely the last time I check out startpage.

That is my understanding, yes.

One thing is certain… Actors are weird.

Rad. I sent a private message your way.

And isn’t that somehow attached to a specific Shakespeare play, but then became universal?
Edit: maybe not. See comments below.

Also donut shops overcharge. Donuts used to be super fucking cheap. That’s why they’d be next to the coffee pot at every function, and in the work break room. Now they want like $2 a donut. It’s dough that’s been boiled in grease. And they get to reuse the grease for many boilings. C’mon.

Checking in from the States… The fuck is a “gram/kilo”? Nah, I’m kidding. It’s cocaine, right?
I don’t know that I would call it “sad loser food,” but Mac n cheese is not for me. I don’t enjoy the texture, the sound, or the flavor. I’m glad other people have it to enjoy.

My favorite foul that happens every season: “Personal foul, number 42 Defense, not allowing a Tom Brady (or the star quarterback of the year) touchdown. Half the distance to the goal line. Repeat third down.”

I’d guess it has to do with the benefit of doubt based on a lack of evidence, and a dash of confirmation bias thrown in. For example, there’s plenty of evidence that the generations before them suck at choosing leaders and then suck at governing when they finally get a seat at the table. I would choose to defend millennials because as an older millennial I am biased toward that generation. But Gen Z doesn’t yet have a lot of evidence out there in either direction.
All that said, I feel like the statement “Boomers destroyed the planet in essentially every way and made life worse for every generation that preceded and followed it” is just fact. But again, I’m biased.
For me, none of their grocery store sauces taste like they do on the items from the drive thru. I don’t think they’re the same sauces, honestly.
