I have had to like… realign one of the bumpers once after one of their drops actually now that you mention it.
Nothing was broken that I could see, the button just wasn’t lined up fully so it wasn’t clicking properly where it was supposed to. Went back to working just fine once I put it back together after giving the button a little nudge with the screwdriver.
I’m honestly pretty impressed with how sturdy it is. To have the only thing that’s failed be a charging port in two years of letting at the time 4 year olds use the things regularly is pretty impressive.
My six year olds do a really good job with it honestly. I had to make sure I had a decent case on it because I’ve got ADHD Gremlins with some gross motor delays so they forget not to walk around with it and drop it occasionally, and they’re not the most careful about plugging it in so I’ve had to repair the charging port once. But overall they’ve done really well in the 2 years we’ve had one.
I looked them up and yeah it seems to be a satire account.
