I liked Andromeda though. It made me feel like maybe they could return to form. The narrative was not great and completely forgettable along with the followers but I liked the gameplay and I’ll die on the hill that exploration wise it was a better Mass Effect 1 than Mass Effect 1. The writing was what needed work and I was hoping they would get it right this time around. But seeing how the studio was gutted and this is the lesson they learned from Veilguard I now fully expect it to be a Helldivers ripoff. In fact screencap this.

You’re right in that I said something wrong. There will be a revolution, but one that will only happen when human labor has no value. Until them, communism is not possible and it will simply become oligarchy with rampant poverty and technological stagnation while massive government inefficiency and corruption are rampant. There is very little wealth inequality if everyone except dear leader and his generals are rich, everyone else is equally poor. There might be huge wealth disparities in the US right now but the average homeless person has a higher quality of life than almost every other country in the world, this is only possible because capitalism has allowed for the quality of life of everyone to improve as it generates wealth.

The Chinese are the only ones that actually “get it” I think, or so it would seem, even if they are still somewhat adhering to tankie tendencies.

I really don’t think it makes any sense to consider tech billionaires automating labor as “real Marxists” but those studying Marxism and building Socialism as “fake.”

And yet they and their employees are the only ones capable of creating the conditions for communism to be real and viable. I will reinstate my point and urge you to meditate on it: Communism will not be viable until human labor has no value.

I was thinking about subbing to Proton and researched a few other alternatives but ended up coming to the conclusion that it is kinda useless for me and most people. Unless the other person(s) you email are also using Proton or a similar service then you’re still compromised. I guess it makes sense for some people like journalists or politicians, but only if you know your peers are also using it. I ended up moving everything to iCloud which does most of what you’re looking for.

I talked with both the fascists and the liberals and they said no, no third parties allowed. You can be an independent but will eventually be forced to pick a side or be flayed alive for being a filthy CENTRIST.

You are aware that the Republican Party and the MAGA movement is a pretty big coalition of ideologies right? There are some who believe in monarchies and techno feudalism, others are gymnast marxists, and then some of them are anti-elite and anti-globalists to the bone. They don’t necessarily like Trump more than you do but he is more aligned with their cause than democrats will ever be so they support him. They are the most racist of the bunch too so the whole deportations and anti DEI crusade is kind of an added bonus for them.

Doesnt work. They ban your ip, MAC address, email, everything. They even have a tool that flags people that may be doing ban evasion based on behavior and communities that are joined by said account. You could get around it but it’s way too much effort just to use reddit.

I would prefer if it grew because so many communities are dead. It seems that only political and shitposting instances have constant activity.

Holy misinformation Batman! You don’t have to use the App store for anything on MacOS. Matter of fact many popular apps are not found in the AppStore at all.

iPhone and iPad may be walled gardens but I’ll go out on a limb here and say that MacOS is actually more open than Windows or at the very least it’s as open.
