yeah, It’s been on for about 11 years on reddit. It’s pretty much a payday loan / private lender type deal. Interested borrowers would post a request and reason for the loan, date of expected payment and interest on such loan. Lenders that are interested in the post would contact the lender. Over the years the system has worked well.

Verification system (fair for both interested parties) is in place to avoid people absconding with the lenders pay. There are bots involved to keep track of the borrowers reputation for loans paid and unpaid, same thing foes for lenders to keep it safe and transparent.

People who do transaction ouside of the subreddit automatically get kicked out to avoid screwing up the system if the transaction goes left. The Major system used include Paypal, Venmo, other arrangement to accomodate international users of the platform.

I have always lurked around that subreddit, but never used it since i. don’t have a need for it.

Late 30’s , male here. Women in their 40’s imho are the renewed teen but with elevated libido safe for other health issue. My experience: Yes, This was in the days of craiglist personals, searched for meetups for the city i was heading to a week prior. Was surprised she responded. I wasn’t ready (Good surprise) for the BBW I met in person. It ended up being a nice vacation for the week i was there. Lost contact due to petty miscommunication for almost a decade, all effort to reconnect was in futility.

Last summer, I went to check my old email account i used for such connections back then, not sure what I ws looking for, there it was email, phone and stuff i need. I sent an email re-introducing myself, I wasn’t expecting any response. Within 24 hours i got her reply, comms regained. It was a good feeling no lie. Schedduling on my art has been a bit hard, but i’d try to reconnect with her probably late summer or fall. Downside: Text skills is Dry like the sahara, but wholesome In-person. Would update if anything change.

Suggestion: Reddit r4r and variations of that sub (local and global sub) is a good place to start. Don’t half ass your post, review success stories, this should give you an idea of how to write your prompt. It’s a numbers game for guys compared to the ladies. Keep the post up, you would defo get someone, also brace up for rejections and flaky individual and spammy folks.
