1·2 days agoThank you for the recommendation!
The grief theme reminds me Spiritfarer, I haven’t finished that game either. And I think that was kinda targeted game also…

I would go for the characters with the white fill first, and slowly expand it to the snowman.
That way you can manage time of when you need to stop :)

7·2 days agoI bet it was a rogue AI that did this! Totally.
If you like fantasy and smart, quick comedy, I wholeheartedly recommend those books - or some old point and click games. :)
I came here looking for this comment! You are not dumb at all for having the association! :D

31·3 days agoThere is a whole industry for women’s games. Good +15 years ago I was part of external / independent teams that developed games for them. (They were not that successful hits but still)
It is just not as evident as steam or any other game store: Bigfish Games
Now they are just starting to realize that, there are women on Steam.
But don’t forget all the big cozy hits that are “surprising” hits: Stardew, Portia/Sandrock. Casual games are thriving as they should!
I love this sketch! Great work with the shadows and light.

Thank you! The drawing was based on an obsidian rock surface. I’m really happy it came through the way I wanted! :)
I was thinking even more about my og idea so I tortured an llm making a map just to understand the scope. It is enormous. And explains a lot.
Ai generated map incoming:

For sure not accurate, but I find the idea fascinating
It’s the parts you can’t recognize!
Awesome! You did a great job!
Yet is the key word! I tried the lite version of it, and … I gave up after couple of hours. It is definitely a hard skill to master :).
Leather working is on my list also. I’ve found a store in my area and it is just something else! So much raw potential!
Did you use a kit or did everything from scratch for this project?
I tried to make it minimal, the trees were intentionally scritch-scratched :).
Because I don’t like ink it is really a challenge to push myself to do it. I bet I improved in this last 20 days - but it is painful :D. With ink if you make a decision you have to commit to it - there is no undo…Right now I am big into lace jewelry.
I prefer graphite over ink, but digital is the easiest way to create. Either painting or using InkScape to create vectorized art over a sketch. And I do like torturing innocent LLMs to make me tools for my crafts also :) this isn’t art but I definitely call it a creative process.
Really cute bag! Perfect size for not too small and not too big!
Did you make the strap also?
Card weaving is such magic!

True :)
It is fascinating how evolution works with these kinda useless extras.
