I’m in the same boat. Just moved into a place and the garage has a lot of work to be set up. I had been at my last place for six years, so everything was well established. Different space, different configuration, different mindset… I had to get axles on my project to get it rolling before the move, so the moment that was done, it was a rush to throw everything into boxes and get it all to the new place. It has not helped me on this end, but it is all here and I’ve been slowly going through everything to get it where it needs to be for whatever project or job I’ve got to do.

Took me a minute, but I’m guessing the mom is warning their child that any potential date or relationship with someone who believes woowoo about the significance of time of birth won’t be good for them.

I lived in the middle of three stacked apartments in my early twenties, but had a stairway down to the outside which opened to my own patio. There was a groundhog we called ‘Pete’ or ‘Petey’ that lived under the patio, and it was always nice to see a bit of wildlife so close to the city. Even the landlord didn’t seem to mind his presence. On several occasions, we would find Pete sunbathing on the very top roof, above the third story, with no discernable pathway for him to have climbed up there. This went on for years and no one witnessed his ascent. Only that he would be up there and find himself back down at some point. Pete was a good neighbor, I miss him.

I’m not a geologist so I can’t give an answer I’d like, but I do enjoy reading about such things. Your question prompted me to search on my own about it. You should read about the formation of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin and of course, the formation of the rockies and geologic timelines and forces involved. Wish I could actually provide a short and concise answer, but I just like to think about it and am by no means a scholar. Good luck!
