There will be violence, sure, they’d be all to happy to use it but it’s not something they’re worried about. Once some loyal heads start purging the FBI and CIA, then we’ll get into proper Stasi land.

From last Sunday on, no citizen has any rights guaranteed anymore, and laws no longer apply unless they’re taken by force. Any crime against a person or business can just be waived or bought off.

It’s hard to say given the distortion modern media has as to how many real humans actually have an opinion vs. what benefits those in a powerful position and is preferred by them and is “fit to print”, but I read a surprising number of Jewish folks happy to align themselves with violence in Palestine and the American ascendent fascists who are taking things domestically down a road that was trod not long ago. The sad news is that critical mass, and actual personal realization that you’ve been scammed, emotionally internalizing and processing that and then you (or your grandchildren) getting mad enough to join the left and overthrow fascists can take decades if not centuries for a historical opportunity. I’m optimistic that there are still good seeds for it in the US, but the right will be merciless at targeting news orgs, civil rights and legal orgs and eventually individuals they deem who might pose a threat to raising the (good) rabble against them.
