On the other hand, the Emulationstation website reads:
This website is for the original EmulationStation, last updated in 2015!
Without having tried it, I think ES-DE may be a better choice nowadays, since that one seems to be maintained.
RetroDECK bundles ES-DE with relevant tools and emulators if you want to use it for emulation of games.

How do you edit anything with that App Manager app? I can see them listed for each app on their respective tabs, but nothing happens when I tap or hold any of them.

It wouldn’t surprise me, but can you point me to a trustworthy source confirming that claim? Also, does the TikTok app refuse to work without those permissions granted (Location, Contacts, SMS, Photos and videos)?

Also, the heights of the chair and table seem unadjustable, and it seems the pupil is seated too far away from the desktop to actually be comfortable.
What a useless piece of piss. Yeah, at least it’s repairable, but is such a stupid piece of faulty furniture even worth repairing?

I don’t want to test this right now, but some of my previous devices would just reboot after keeping the power button pressed for approx. 10-30 sec, overruling the need to use the on-screen shutdown menu - probably to be able to escape a frozen/broken system without waiting for the unremovable battery to run out. That could very well still be the case for some current devices out there.

I think it has access through the system filepicker app, and I’m pretty sure that means it will only temporarily be granted access to read just the file you pick. You, the user, can see and select any and all the files on the screen, but in this case, the app that requested the file access can’t see the content of the filepicker app’s UI - if I’m not totally mistaken.
If someone can confirm this, please do!
