I don’t know about propoganda from a political point of view, but the amount of casual animal cruelty on the platform is enough for me to leave it with a worse opinion of the country than I originally had.

I don’t mind some darker stuff cause I’ve been on the internet for a long time, but the casual way Chinese people seem to (not) react to animal cruelty got me shook.

I was really enjoying Rednote, but I guess it ran out of rich Chinese citizen content and started showing me the poor people content and man there’s some pretty casual animal cruelty going on over here 😳

Also for all the talk of censorship in China, they sure don’t care about stuff like dead bodies and animal slaughter.
