if you mean google photos, be aware that google can always shut down your account for any reason (in an automated manner) with no way to get to a human for recourse (if you don’t have the cheat code of a large fanbase)

not a grapheneos user (and they can technically use the play store in a more isolated way) but i do degoogle as much as I’m able to

didn’t expect uninstalling google play store and services to actually work (via adb) with no ill effect (but some phones do apparently refuse to boot until you factory reset if you try)

granted, on my gacha phone i do need to keep play services for function, despite still working with google servers blocked
