I suppose it’s impossible to entirely rule out contamination, but the scientists involved are trying their best, and science is always “as far as we’re able to determine at this moment…” never “that’s the truth, and that’s that.”
That thing’s huge! That cylindrical thing at the back has to be the cable spool, and that’s obviously an RPG payload in front.
Imagine the lifting power needed to keep both of those, plus the chassis, in the air…
They gave Haro a hip hop beanie that stops his top flaps from opening to extend his arms.
The flaps will probably just open enough for the arms to extend.
Good experience and a good test for the design and features, if the Taiwanese aren’t already experts in building underground infrastructure to withstand bombardment.
“I can’t do this powerful thing, or I’ll never see master again”
It seems these lines are too easily crossed…
Yeah, that looks incredibly protective… /s
For all the fan service and double entendres, this show does have some heart.
The mysteries are okay, but the direction and pacing feel off, and the characters and their dialogue aren’t interesting.
The whole thing of medicine vs. curses, you know which one is going to win in the end.
Paging that guy…
edit: Do they even say that in hospitals anymore?
RPCS3’s website says GoW3 has problems with this emulator.

This title is currently not considered “playable”, as the hardware requirement is too high. But it can be played from start to finish with decent performance on a good CPU, especially if you use the game’s patches.
Does anyone else think that DiCaprio, and De Niro for that matter, were the worst things in Killers Of The Flower Moon?
I’ve just implemented my news detox.
I’ve unsubscribed to the various news, world_news, politics, not_the_onion, /c’s not through their fault, but too depressing.
I’m hoping this frees up more time for watching anime.
That bastard is killing AFU soldiers for lack of equipment.
Execution is the only fitting punishment.
I think it’s for the best…
I was most impressed by the calcite sunstone. Tremendously useful for navigation.
That being said, one would have to find which way is “straight” which may not be perpendicular to one of the crystal’s faces, depending on how light refracts and is polarized through it.
One could probably do that with a small bright light source, like a candle through a pinhole, build a wood holder that indicates what direction the light particles go straight through the crystal without being polarized, and use that to calculate the sun’s angle.
Difficult but doable, I guess.
Okay, I’m getting back on track now…
It’s nice to have a couple of Gaku (glasses) centric episodes to start of the new cours.
He’s a much more relatable character than the front-and-center narcissistic sociopath Haru, and we get to see some of both his upstanding moral character as well as his awesome hacking skills.
I did like the scene where he’s drawing upon his varied life experiences and people he’s met, aside from Haru, to prepare. That felt very relatable.
He does luck out…
in that his hacking trail doesn’t get traced back to his office.
Word to the wise, don’t shit where you eat
And that Kirihime enters the picture and gives him exactly what he wanted, whereas a professional would likely… have done something different.
Nonetheless, he does eventually realize that he has information leverage that he uses to get what he wants.
This show continues to be interesting to me, if less than flashy.
Oh yeah, OP2: “over the top” by Hiroji Miyamoto
and ED2: “EGOIST” by imase
Neither of these are very memorable compared to OP1, but Over The Top is better than ED2, and I do like the summary montage in OP2 that emphasizes that our heroes started from the bottom.

I also liked the Transylvania bits, the crumbling castle especially.
I enjoyed the physicality of Lily-Rose Depp’s performance as not-Mina, although her overacting got on my nerves a bit.
