I just checked mine. It says “probably has a dog”, “probably has workshop”, “probably has outdoor space”, prefers organic, and I have 6 hobbies. Gardening, backpacking, mountaineering, swimming, professional jewelry making and painting lol. I’m adhd. I’m not a mountaineer I just had to buy ice axes and microspikes last minute for a backpacking trip because the snow didn’t melt before our permit date. I mean we did scale mountains in the snow so I guess im a mountaineer now. I try to buy as little as possible from Amazon.

Mine was empty, i am kinda glad about it, it means they did not have enough info about me, not even by brokers Btw, i added

Sorta thought this thread would be full of people saying “I dont even have an Amazon account”. Makes me sad.
amazon is backbone service of the internet dude.
Is there a way to see what companies use AWS?
No. Only way to not use AWS is to not use the internet at all.
It’s like saying how to use the internet without Akami or Cloudflare… you aren’t in 2026.
It is not quite that extreme as they only have 30% of the global market. Your sentiment is correct though.
Are we using it right now by communicating on lemmy?
Hilariously I apparently am big into adheasivly mounting things and also buying batteries. Nothing about my buttocks, sadly.
Oh. And I prefer Anker chargers.
What they don’t tell you on this page is the rest of their inferences based on that: you’re stuck in the renting class still.
This list of “admissions” is intentionally shitty to mollify people into accepting the data broker dystopia.
Nah. I don’t need to know that when I can make my own inferences about where they got this information from.
I have a tile bathroom. Hanging stuff in there is a nightmare. I also have used those adhesive strips to mount things to the back of my TV and to my toolbox.
My brother loses/breaks chargers like it’s going out of style so I buy him on every few months.
The lack of information there is kind of weird given how old the account is. I was expecting a lot of stuff and got basically nil. Granted it’s not like I use the account much, but I’ve had it since college when you could buy used books there.
