It varies, between people and in my case over time. I got mine injected and was “cured” for a few years but it eventually flared up again. I should go again but my situation doesn’t allow for it right now. Metamucil helps more than anything else.

They can bleed that much‽ Mine just ache sometimes and bleed a tiny bit if I don’t use a bidet or eat enough fiber
