Lock downs drills have been going on for a long time, even I had them as a kid.
It doesn’t hurt to go through them as if there’s ever a time when it’s needed your kid will be familiar with the situation and know what to do.

Does anyone know a good word processing shareware/freeware program? I don’t want to give microsoft any more oxygen than I have to. Needs to be able to hold some fairly large files. Compatible with pdf a plus.
I’ve tried open office, Google docs, libre Office… I’ve always seemed to have issues with compatibility when someone opens my file (saved as a DOCX by one of these programs) in Ms Word. Paragraphs will be misaligned, fonts are different, headings not recognised etc… I’ve been using OnlyOffice recently. I haven’t had any issues yet. Limited fonts though.
LibreOffice is probs the major alternative.
+1 libreoffice is great. PowerPoint replacement is still clunky but word and excel replacements are great

Day of today. My stupid preorder of a game didn’t come in, have to wait till Thursday now.
I’m fed, had coffee. Washing in progress and air con is on.
Also my recycle bin wasn’t emptied today so had to arrange for another pick up, hopefully done today or else Monday.

I still remember having a baby robot for health class in Year 10. Just as I had fallen asleep, I got woken up again. Makes me feel for people who don’t get mat leave around the world and are forced to go to work or resign from their jobs.

At the beach with a not particularly close friend for maybe the last truly warm evening… I don’t hate the beach but man, give me a wide open plain or mountain forest or even a treed river bank any day. Something about the gritty sand and seagulls and stuff in the sand and the endless expanse of the water just makes me feel meh.
It’s cool for people watching when it isn’t too hectic though.

Got the melatonin… returned it for containing lactose ;-; I’m now checking out iHerb.
Not seeing ingredients on some… Lactose is used to bind stuff into pills so maybe the gel caps might be alright. The gummies I found have ingredients and while not great they might be tolerable.
