    Thinking.

There are so many people I have a lot in common with and could get along with really well - if they would treat me with respect.

They’re always so shocked and angry when you set a boundary or leave, too. Like… you expect me to just take that?

Got a new phone and now I’ve been locked out of my banking app in trying to set it up 🤦🏼‍♀️ Will have to sort it out tomorrow. I’m kind of annoyed.

Anyone looking for ideas for carpet?

    here's an idea for you!

Just think, someone had to make that carpet, someone else had to decide to stock it to sell, and someone else had to buy it for this to happen. So many people you have to wonder “what were they thinking?!”

Just saw first comedy show if the season. So so good. Saw: He Huang (absolute best of the night), Nazeem Hussein, Dave Hughes, and an Australian/African girl who’s name I sadly forgot who was second best for me - has her own show and is going to be on taskmaster this season. It was a work social club thing and I almost bailed but I’m so glad it didn’t. Buzzing 😊

Partner officially diagnosed with ADHD, and a treatment plan now in place. I’m so proud of him!

We got back to Brunswick, had a couple of Doppel Ename from Mokum, and then got some beer from Blackhearts and Sparrows. It’s been a lovely birthday.

Thank you all so much for your birthday wishes and good vibes!! I don’t know where I would be without you all! 💜💜💜

Suddenly have an absolutely raging craving for prawns. Nice juicy prawn heads drowning in flavour… maybe a nice prawn curry or tacos… that’ll be tomorrow’s treat.

Meanwhile it’s back to having the fan on full blast to try and get to sleep. Too hot in here!

Full moon this weekend. Plus hotter than expected weather. Expect weird shit to go down. Not liking the vibe rn. I will be avoiding crowds this weekend.

Went to the gym at lunchtime today. It’s 2 doors down, then got some sushi as a treat.

I usually just wander around aimlessly on lunch breaks so I’m glad I’m getting my workout without having to wake up at 5am or get home late.

Akshully, Bunnings has inserts with dog doors that can be put in floor to ceiling glass doors. Basically a long thin strip with a dog door at the bottom. The one in the picture looks pretty amazing though.

They do, I have one I use at my parent’s place. But if you don’t have a sliding door they are not much use.

When this under 16 ban comes in I’m going to lose all the collected art resources I carefully organised and all my YouTube playlists…

VPNs get you banned or shadowbanned but kids under 16 won’t care. They could just keep churning through a bunch of new accounts, the disposability encouraging them to do whatever they want.

But for me when I’m unwell and can’t do much else I spend a lot of time collecting and organising reference photos, art tutorials, and posts with links to free art books. There’s a few years worth that will be near impossible to back up.

And I don’t know what sites will be affected which makes it hard to even try to start migrating.

    spoiler

(‘Download account’ options never seem to work - I always end up having to go back and do it manually.)

Even if I buy a dedicated external drive then screenshot and paste links it will be hard to preserve sources or keep images and related information together. It’s a mammoth task to do manually and the old fashioned way. Archiving is literally a job. And you can’t go back to look at them without a login.

For the YouTube playlists maybe I can screenshot to be able to find some difficult to search stuff later, or paste the titles into a mega document, but oh man. Not a good solution.

It will also cut me off from a lot of other artists.

This crap isn’t going to do anything but punish disabled people who spend a lot of time online and people who care about privacy.

But that’s the Australian government’s way. Make grand promises (usually involving “protecting the children”) and then do something that doesn’t work - and has unintended consequences.

I have much more to say about that but I’m tired -_-

I could but at the moment it might be a bit of a steep learning curve for me. And if it gets picked up as changing where my traffic comes from I’ll probably be banned (so instead of inaccessible everything would just be gone)
