I see people with guts like this all the time but like…how does the body grow like that? Is it just some people’s bodies that just exclusively store fat in the belly and nowhere else? Is it a growth? Is it because this person is active but just eats too much?

It always confuses me when you see these guys with just a perfectly round belly and barely any fat anywhere else on them.

Liver disease can do this too. Alcoholics will often get this kind of belly. Any other disorder that fills abdomen with fluid can do it too, though I think that’d generally be an emergency situation.

No, beer belly is just developing extra layers of fat like normal because drinking beer is like eating bread, it’s full of carbs.

This is more like a “his abdomen filled with fluid it wasn’t supposed to very rapidly because of organ failure or something”; but that’s not what “beer belly” refers to

Testosterone does this. If you have really high T and gain weight, it mostly goes to the belly. It’s especially obvious when a dude is on steroids but doesn’t diet or exercise enough to get the body builder look.
