Three male escorts in a new documentary have alleged that late Republican Senator Lindsey Graham paid them for sexual encounters, including one who says he was 17 at the time.

The CLOSETocracy, produced by Swamp Watch Studios and Tystnaden Films and released by the left-wing Young Turks network, features testimony from men who say Graham paid them for sexual encounters in Arizona and Washington, D.C. The allegations have not been independently corroborated.

One of the men, identified in the documentary as Kelvin, alleges he met Graham at a property in Arizona in 2001, when he was 17. He claims Graham paid him $120 for the encounter.

“My name is Kelvin. I had sex with Lindsey Graham when I was 17,” he says in the documentary.

They’re criticizing these men for not coming forward earlier.

Because it’s totally ok to put the blame on victims instead of Lyndsey fucking Graham.

I’m not criticizing them for coming forward. They deserve support. I just don’t see a point in the media focusing attention on this after he’s dead. Their are far too many still living problems to deal with to be dividing focus towards dead ones.

Victims should be able to tell their story in their own time without criticism.

I’m not criticizing the victims. I’m criticizing the media. This stuff was already known while he was alive if they wanted to dig into it.

The criticism is valid, over the last 25 years that victim could have approacged law enforcement or the media to prevent the abuser abusing again. Instead he waited until after they died to do a documentary.

These aren’t new allegations. Victim blaming will not be tolerated here.

Lyndsey Graham had a lot of influence and pull. He absolutely worked to bury these stories.

I’m not blamingthe victim for their abuse. I am criticising their approach to holding their abuser accountable which is absolutely appropriate. They are not infallible as result of being abused.

The fact there were rumours for years does nothing but support that people should have come forward instead of going public after he died.
