Are you seriously thinking this is the thing that takes away legitimate pressure against the US? The bit of Microsoft software?

It is a dependency, but so is their dependency to get money, data and land from the EU. This is why they will never cut access to the digital services.

Their biggest threat is energy. Especially now they have closed the strait of Hormuz. But they have used Microsoft before like in their attacks on the ICC in the hague

Geopolitics is like a game, where you intentionally try to force a reaction. Drones flying into prohibited airspace, threatening, cutting vital access to satellite coms.

But this does not mean that they will proceed, or that they are even capable of proceeding without major internal issues.

So while they play around with an ICC, which unfortunately does not get taken seriously by any member, cutting off the entire digital landscape might cripple the EU for a couple of weeks, but it will cripple the US for the next 100 years.

So the question they constantly ask themselves in geopolitics is: Is it worth it?

Don’t underestimate Trumps stupidity. He will cut off access if he decides to, even if it ends up hurting the US more than Europe. This mf is irrational.
