Can’t we let rain, rust, and corruption do that for us? Saves bombs for better things.
Those are too slow. Unless you want this 3 day operation to drag on for 3 decades.
If they get enough oil tanks and refineries there will be no oil for Russia to run their war machine one and the war grinds to a horse/donkey powered halt. There is reason to suspect that Russia is already facing lack of oil issue, though war gets priority so it isn’t always clear at the front.
Given how many tanks Ukraine has captured, it would be counterproductive to blow up the storage bases when the Russians are literally paying to store and refurbish tanks for Ukraine.
Fingers crossed.
As is mentioned in the video: Better blow up refineries - much easier targets, and the ensuing fuel shortages stop the azzholes on all transport, even their tiny golf carts.
In addition to causing issues for the war machine, causing a fuel shortage also hurts civilians (in a way that is not a war crime). In fact, because the war machine has top priority, a fuel shortage will probably hit civilians first. Frustrated civilians that don’t like fuel shortages are more likely to be a nuisance, which is nice.
Seems better to let the Russians put a lot of effort into fixing them up, and then destroying them.
the amount of ordinance it takes to blow up armament and maintenance facilities vs the amount (and precision) it takes to penetrate the armor of a 1,000 tanks. dunno.
Ordnance.
Ordinance is a local law or regulation. Ordnance is bombs.
your mom doesn’t care how i spell it
As someone that also struggles with spelling as well and letters move around or disappear when I read I always wonder is there a way to correct someone’s spelling without coming off as a smug asshole?
your mom doesn’t think i’m a smug asshole
Sounds like your immature teenage ass is lost. Here, let me help you home: TikTok
your mom seems to like it, oh she just told me to tell you to clean your room
A lot of them have open hatches, and are just sitting there. You could conceivably deploy a drone swarm to start extremely destructive fires in the tanks, which would make them MUCH more of a pain in the ass to prep for service again.
That’s a lot of drones that could be utilised more effectively, such as by destroying highly flammable targets like fuel stores, oil refineries, caches of ammunition and such—more bang for the buck, literally and metaphorically—or choke points such as maintenance facilities.
maybe just blow up the tanks in the outer rings
