Check out “Silent Running” (1972) - its about preserving Earth’s last forests in space greenhouses and has some amazing solarpunk-adjacent vibes despite being made decades before the term existed.

We have been discussing some related books and movies in our !fiction@slrpnk.net community, but AFAIK there are no explicitly Solarpunk movies.

Many Miyazaki movies have solarpunk themes, but Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is probably the best example.
