This week is unKAOSing and organise week, it will not be easy
Sat down and learned how to use FFMPEG to convert files last night. It might sound sacrilegious but I want to convert some flacs to mp3. These are car songs for the kids, I needed to convert whole folders at a time because we don’t need 1gb albums in the car

It’s pretty hard to hear the difference from flac -> 320kbps mp3 in a car.
BUT kiddos have better hearing than us oldies so would be interesting to do a blind test with them and ask if they can tell the format difference in the car. Might break up the ‘are we there yet’ routine 🙃
They just want to hear Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult again and again. I converted the flacs through VLC and there’s such a volume dropoff between that track and the others on the car USB
Stayed home from work today, no regrets (until tomorrow, probably)
Sweet, getting trained in helping out the cook crew, just so they can take their breaks. Hot af standing over a fryer, but it’s good work. Mixing batter is fun!

Anxiety is through the roof right now. I haven’t touched my instruments in ages. I just wake up, go to work or uni, then come home and scroll or do uni work. I can feel myself sinking into the abyss.

I’ve been actively working to reduce my scroll time, I get so frustrated by myself with how much time I waste doing it. Maybe being a bit more conscious of it will help?
