I’ve been saying US is and has always been the greatest enemy of Europe for years now. I may actually be thankful to Trump for finally making it clear to the masses. I hope we cut ties with the US and never interact with them again, not in a thousand, not in a billion years. Let fucking USAians starve in their own shit.
Why is the premise of the latter half of this article that cooperating with China is good because it will reduce immigration from Africa?
Actually, in context of an author who spends the article writing about how Europeans can earn the respect of Trump (as if such a thing has any value), it is clear that Europeans have a lot more to learn about rationality before they can become rational.
I think the author is Singaporean, from what I know Singapore is still fairly pro American right now.

Eurots can’t possibly imagine countries having agency in their pursuit of their own interests.
The unthinkable: act in its own best interest.
That really does become unthinkable when the whole political class has become subordinate to another nation.
The unthinkable: think
The unthinkable: common sense. Seriously, why is peace an unthinkable option for these people in the first place?
When your economy is built off imperialism and unequal exchange, any cessation of violence feels like a lost opportunity.
