Yeah seriously, no matter how much they tack on, it still doesn’t make the base game fun to play. Nothing more boring than a game that feels like a job.

Those “bribes” are pathetic as fuck. If you’re going to bribe me, do it right. I don’t want your stupid skins.
So what? Fuck Safari. Hardly anyone uses it anyway.
Never even heard of that one. Mine was Charmander (Bulbasaur is superior, though. He dominates the first two gym leaders).
And emulation is legal too, but that doesn’t stop Nintendo.
Which can be solved by installing a bigger heat pump. No boiler can compete with 300% efficency.
I’m an open format DJ, so I listen to everything except Hick Hop, and that annoying sub-genre of electronic music that consists of little more than someone repeating the same word or phrase over a simple drum beat. Have no idea what it’s called, but kids under 30 seem to love it and I just don’t understand why.
That’s not how this works. Even without decent insulation, a heat pump is still the most efficient way to warm a home. I have shit insulation in my house; the heat pump is my only source of warmth and it does a damn fine job.
I like Windows 11. It has the best HDR support of any OS, bar none. AutoHDR is a godsend.
My only complaint is about the taskbar, which I fixed by installing StartAllBack.
Hasn’t affected my life one bit. It people weren’t mentioning egg prices on Lemmy, I would have had no idea that there was a shortage.
Never understood everyone’s obsession with eggs. There are so many other sources of protein out there. You don’t need to perpetually have them in your fridge.
As much as they love to sue people, I don’t understand why Nintendo doesn’t go after Apple for trademark infringement, so that they’re forced to finally come up with a better method of storing folder attributes.
DLSS is AI upscaling, right?
No, not DLSS. RTX Video Enhancement. Makes YouTube look so much better.
I think the program
nvidia-settings
has that? Try it out!
It does not. I’m talking about this page. Almost every game in existence is missing several settings that are on this page, especially GPU Power Management Mode, Negative LOD Bias, Max Framerate in the Background, and Max VR Prerendered Frames.
Does that driver support SDR to HDR conversation, AI upacaling, and most importantly: the 3D Settings page? I can live without the first two features, but I can’t believe that there is no 3D Settings page in Linux. It has so many graphics settings that aren’t available in most games.
And yes, AMD GPUs can’t keep up. Especially if you like Ray Tracing. I’m not an AMD hater; I have a 7700X
Lucky. I couldn’t get HDR working properly, and most of my GPU features were missing because Nvidia refuses to support Linux (and AMD GPUs can’t keep up). So I had to go back to Windows.
Been trying to switch to Linux since 2004. I’ll try again in 5 years.
I want to enjoy this game but I just can not wrap my head around all the heroes and their abilities. There’s way too many of them.
Which is odd, because I didn’t have much issue figuring out Overwatch during the open beta back in 2016. Am I just getting old in my 30s, or is Marvel Heroes legitimately more complex than OW was back then?
It has the best story of all the Fallouts, by-far. Really amazing what they managed to pull off with only 18 months of development time. But because of the rushed schedule, the game is also extremely buggy. I would not recommend playing it without mods that fix the bugs and restore missing content that wasn’t finished in time for release. It also doesn’t play well with modern OSes. Some people have had success running it on newer PCs but for me it’s been hit or miss. Don’t let that discourage you from trying it, though. It’s such a good game that it’s worth putting some effort into trying to get it to run.
I’m probably going to get hate for this, but do you know if any mods that allow the game to work in Windows 11? None of the fan patches I could find in the Nexus actually work, even if they claim they are for Win11 users. The game still crashes constantly. I’m seriously considering digging my old gaming PC out of storage just so I can play NV one last time.
How’s the game in Linux? Haven’t tried it there yet cause it barely runs in Win7, an OS it was designed for (but at least it runs), so I didn’t even try it in Linux cause I’m doubtful it’ll work any better than it does in 11.
Fallout: London is so good, I can’t believe that it’s a free mod. It feels like a standalone Fallout title. Can’t believe they convinced all those amazing voice actors to work for free. The level of detail put into the game world is beyond impressive as well.
