Corporations spend billions on the current infrastructure and trade routes and logistics, they will not uproot everything and go through the pains of firing everyone then moving to America and retraining because of a short term loss. American administrations are fickle, many of them will simply wait out the 4 years hoping it will return to normal then. If it doesn’t then maybe they might consider it then but for the next 4 years Americans are going to be paying a shitload more for anything that’s not made in America.

American businesses will also find it a lot more difficult to sell their products out of the country when those countries retaliate with tarriffs against them.

This looks more like a NIMBY living next to a park or school got mad at kids being too loud one day and went to home Depot to do this themself to try and punish them for having fun in a public space despite them probably getting the house for cheap because it’s nearby a loud area.

People don’t become conservative as they age, they become conservative as they accumulate wealth which in the past has typically correlated with age. Once they have wealth they want to protect it.

Nowadays people don’t accumulate wealth as easily so it takes longer before they develop more conservative views if at all.

It’s an “I got mine, screw everyone else” tendency.

That seems like a pretty stupid road design. Where I live one lane always has the dashed line go to the edge of the road to indicate which lane is ending and which lane is continuous, where the vehicle in the lane that’s ending is the one to require indicators. There’s never two lanes that just combine into one with no way to tell who has the right of way.
