Both of these conditions exist for some of us.
Both of these conditions exist for some of us.
Maybe stress of living in a world that places pressures and punishments on people who have a hard time conforming might also have something to do with it.
ITT: there is evil in all of us.
We’re still being forgotten.
The boomers held on to power for such a long time that X never really got a generational chance to change things or sit in the driver’s seat. They were left waiting in the wings for their turn. The millennials were pretty pissed off for a lot of reasons and made a lot of noise, so they overshadowed X, and they’ve been maneuvering for their opportunities in the driver’s seat.
So basically X got mostly left out. Doesn’t mean we couldn’t fuck things up, though. We were the biggest trump voters by generation.
The conceit and egotism of these people is laughable.
Weight loss aficionados have to shop at wolf-infested grocery stores.
God of Toilet Paper.
You might laugh, but I would own the world.
If you were in my favor, you would get the softest, never-chafing, cleanest single-wipe-clean TP ever. No matter what you ate, no matter how spicy, no matter how ill, you could be assured of pain-free, cooling, soothing, wipes. It would be beautiful. Rainbows and peace, no matter how violent the shit
Piss me off? Anything you choose to clean your backside with is then designated TP. I will clog all the toilets, all the plumbing, all the sewers. I can make it all gympie-gympie leaves, sandpaper, wax paper, or just vanish mid-wipe. No matter how much you wiped your already raw ass, there would still be more. I would be a scourge on the Earth, and all would have to bow down before me. You would love me. You would hate me.
He who controls the comfort of the sphincter, controls the world.
And houses were smaller. And electricity cheaper.
There’s plenty of stories from other countries about the cunning hero outsmarting the fae or similar. Just that in America, the hero always wins vs other countries where there are also many stories where the hero gets killed.
Yeah. Except them. They’ll just pull a trump, get convicted, then nothing will happen. But heaven help you if you’re a minority. They just want to bring back lynchings.
Missed the part where you said AI. Sorry.
AI written? The few obvious ones I’ve seen mention irrelevant obvious details, meander, and can be repetitive.
That’s interesting and random. I think time to coast would be a better measure and look quite a bit different, especially seeing as this map counts the Great Lakes as “coastal”, which I don’t think fits the definition. The lakes are called the “third coast” jokingly, but coastal is seashore, not freshwater.
Why not. No need to rely on conditional support from the US, especially with the unreliable new administration.
Lol, overthrows the government to be run by the exact same government.
The mental gymnastics are ridiculous.
One of the big reasons we can’t have nice things in the US. High speed rail, for instance. There’s just plain old NIMBY, to start. Concern over property values. Then eminent domain. Then the lawyers drag it through courts over whatever argument because billable hours. We haven’t even looked at what expensive safeguards are necessary because every idiot will try to get around the rail crossing restrictions or do shit to the tracks thanks to “me first” and a complete lack of social responsibility like Japan displays in this context. Then every fool politician will try to starve it of funds because good public transportation costs money, and we can’t have evil taxes happening when you should buy a car or pay for an airline ticket. Hundreds of millions spent and we can’t even get started thanks to people just placing their wallets and special interests first.
Anti-black? Is that a substitute for “racist” to avoid censorship?
The average cost of a dozen large grade-A eggsrose to $3.65 in November — a whopping 40% increase from January 2024, according to the latest available data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
$3.65? Is this that outrageous or unusual? They had to go all the way back 11 months to find the most egregious differential to report on it? And mention November prices while it’s January? How about we dig back to 2016 when eggs (doz grade A) were, guess what, $3.65? They were $3.65 in 2020, also for a dozen grade A. 2019, apparently as well. So it seems egg prices vary a lot, $3.65 average for a dozen grade A eggs is not unusual.
E: the last .gov financial data for average dozen grade A eggs is only available for November. I’d expect egg prices to go up with avian flu issues, but reporting on egg prices IMO really smacks of the social media propaganda glut leading up to the election that complained about egg prices being $7 or something while they were (average) $3.65 or less.

This right here. Tyrants make up laws that are nebulous enough that you can charge whoever you want with them.
