I absolutely agree, getting your Ls should involve a short course and test like it does for motorbikes. Just scanning the road and looking out for danger properly is a whole skill that people need to be taught.
I’d say the biggest thing we can really do for road safety is to just reduce car numbers, so of course more trains and a bunch of HSR between the cities. Going 130 can reduce your travel time by a tiny amount, but going 250-300 on one of the safest modes of travel is something else entirely.
Dr. Stone is amazing and really scratched a nerdy itch for me, haven’t watched all of the anime but from what I have seen it’s a solid adaptation of the manga

It doesn’t really matter what you think about the person, the point is to take their word for it. If making people accept neopronouns is trolling then it’s not a bad thing and I am personally not upset by it. If that did somehow “discredit” me I would argue that it only reflects badly on those who think my acceptance of it is bad, they are using it as a weak excuse to attack me.
Using they may be considered misgendering if you know that that person doesn’t also go by they, neo-pronouns or otherwise.
Neopronouns are valid as hell and all these people who refuse to acknowledge that fact are by definition transphobic.
You cannot claim to support trans people while declaring a subgroup to be invalid because you think they’re not doing it the right way. You are not an ally unless you support all trans people, people who use neopronouns are not the problem, you are.
Policing trans people makes you a transphobe.
Joining any group your comfortable with, as others have said, is the #1.
One you can do from home is just start sending money to mutual aid requests you see on insta or wherever. Make it a weekly thing even if it’s just a couple of dollars. There are also plenty of groups that operate mainly online, though they tend to be harder to get into for security reasons.
And honestly, being generally nice to random people is underrated. Never doubt how much better you can make a stranger’s day by giving them a smile. Similarly, some of the best support I get is just from chatting with people, I’ve had so many crap days completely turned around because we had a seemingly meaningless conversation. I guess we’re social creatures after all, so it’s not too surprising.
It was super hard to be vegan in Japan, but not impossible. If anyone goes to Osaka you need to check out OKO Takoyaki, it’s one of the coolest places I’ve ever been to and their food is some of the best I had in Japan. If you look hard enough, you’ll find my name on a couple of the walls
