Just got off an hour long call with an old friend. Met them 5 jobs ago (almost 10yrs ago now), and we’ve been friends since.
I’m relieved he’s okay, he’s up in brissy, but didn’t lose power or get flooded. Phew!
Hopefully I’ll see him again when he comes down to Melbs in May.

Had a really good sleep but needed more of it, very vivid dreams last night.

Bought a dozen eggs on my way home. ALL of them were rotten. The best before date still had 3 weeks to go. If using eggs, crack them into a bowl before adding them to dinner folks, for your own protection. I reckon they must be scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel now in the egg warehouses.

Had to open all of them, hoping to find 2 good ones. I’ve already sent an extremely polite and extremely sarky email to them. With photos. Especially of the one with black hairy streaks all through it.

These were from colesworth - I usually go to Piedmontes but my way home went past the local colesworth. I won’t be buying from there again anytime soon.
