Time to place and bait Basket Traps. You’ll need 16 cattails, a stick, and either a turnip, a parsnip, or a carrot. With 4 hares, you should have a decent chance of trapping a breeding pair.
(This is Vintage Story help, don’t feed real buns carrots or parsnips.)
