I agree that there will (probably) always be some amount of people that have passion enough to do these things themselves, but this is still a big problem as it erodes current infrastructure for the transfer of knowledge. The state of these scenes by the time the bubble finally bursts will likely be vastly diminished and in little state to help the new or tenacious people that are left.
