In the linked thread, OP promotes rioting while discouraging voter turnout. My comments agreed with activism like riots, but pointed out that it’s not an either-or thing. You can riot -and- vote; and even if you don’t have it in you to riot, still do vote.

Anywho, YSK. Spaces like r/conservative were clearly labeled and easy to avoid; LateStageCapitalism@lemmy.world presents as a cause worth rallying around, but only until you peel up the veneer and see that they’re the same fucking thing.

        When you use a derogatory term against someone you are arguing with, others can see that you have no valid argument and have resorted to name calling to score some kind of imaginary points.

        For example, other than MAGAts, who deserve all the derision aimed their way, I haven’t created some kind of derogatory term for adherents to the other ideologies I don’t agree with. I don’t agree with Libertarianism or Anarchism, but I haven’t created some dumbass term to try to belittle them.

        Unfortunately, for someone of your limited intellect, it seems that doing exactly that is the only ammo you’ve got in your tiny little weapon.
