I was looking at 5090’s the other day on newegg and they were all around $10k, absolute lunacy.

I’m guessing part of it is nvidia isn’t making any more and hasn’t announced any successor either

Holy shit!! I have this GPU. Wonder what I could sell it for right now… Just got laid off and that’s a lot of dollars.

I spent 2k on a 2080ti just before covid. I don’t think I’ll be upgrading until it stops working at this point. However it still runs AAA games at 4k with 60fps with medium graphics so I’m not concerned. Smaller games it runs at 240fps (my monitor’s refresh rate) with max graphics settings perfectly fine.
